“I thought Heechul and I could create a stage that is both fun and different. (While practicing harmony, Heechul kept on singing Hongki’s lines and the melody keeps on changing every time he sings. They were not in harmony. He was on the verge of calling Yesung instead to have someone sing with Hongki thinking that he can’t do it.) He was pretty serious about it, expressing his vocal strengths. There are many people who haven’t seen him sing on TV shows so he wanted to show that side.”
After the performance, “I said, oh, the mistakes. But to be honest, I think the audience enjoyed it. And I got off the stage and I saw Heechul coming down. But his face was like this ⊙__⊙ Since I made many mistakes, I felt bad for Heechul so I said I’m sorry. But he said it’s okay. He made some mistakes, too. And when we started talking about that, we forgot the good parts because of all the mistakes we made.”
“There was a part where we looked at each other and sang together, and Heechul looked so sad because he was nervous. And that made me laugh that I couldn’t continue singing. I lost my place.”
(Heechul: I’m going to be sadder when this is aired.)But in the end when Hongki thought he was going to be the bottom, with Heechul, they won the first place ^^
“I was so dumbfounded. I said to hyung, we won first place. And he said, I don’t feel like joking around with you. So I told him that’s true and Heechul said with a very loud voice, WHAT! What did you say? Then he said, Life is so funny.” [x]
